🌟 Get to Know Laura! 🌟

How did you get started in aerial arts?
I had always wanted to try aerials as a teen, but there were no studios near me. When Aerial Enchantment opened near my home in 2018, I signed up for a trial and fell in love. I thought silks was going to be my favourite but it ended up being my least favourite!

A unique or quirky fact about yourself?
I can touch my nose with my tongue. (My usual fun fact is that I do aerials)

What is your favourite apparatus?
My favourite apparatus is trapeze, although I teach a lot more hammock.

Do you prefer drops or poses?
I definitely prefer poses, and still get super nervous if I haven't done a drop for a while!

What is the most rewarding part of being an aerial instructor for you?
The most rewarding part of teaching for me is getting to know my students and seeing them grow more confident over the course of the term, plus the joy when they finally get that one trick that they've been stuck on.

I signed up for an aerial silks trial class when I was 13 years old. After my first class I was hooked and I haven’t looked back since.

I’m currently in university studying to be a paramedic.

Definitely silks!!!

Drops for sure!
