At Aerial Enchantment we help our students to become more confident in themselves while learning to persevere to achieve their goals! We help you to develop your strength and determination in a supportive environment while learning the art of aerial dance!


Aerial Program

Do you want to build your self esteem, confidence, strength and flexibility? Come and discover Silks, Hammock, Lyra and Trapeze! We have intimate class sizes with only 4 people per class so you can get the most out of your classes with us!


Age Groups:

Juniors: 5 – 10 years

Teens: 11 – 15 years

Adults: 16+ years


10 week term, 1 hour classes – $300


Book in for 1 class receive 20% off of your 2nd class
Book in for 2 classes receive 30% off of your 3rd class
Book in for 3 classes receive 40% off of your 4th class

If multiple children from the same family book in to a term class, the second child will receive 10% off the class price.

Active Kids  and Creative Kids Vouchers:

To validate active kids/ creative kids vouchers you need to provide us with the name, date of birth and voucher number to receive $100 off of the term fees.


In our Silks classes you will learn how to climb, invert and wrap yourself up into amazing positions. As you move up through the levels of silks and become more confident you will start to learn how to wrap yourself into impressive drops and rolls! We will show you how to make these moves look amazing and effortless!


In our Hammock classes you will learn how to get in and out of the hammock gracefully and make beautiful shapes. As you work through the levels you will learn how to transition from one move to another and how to do exciting drops to make your routines look impressive and seamless.


In our Lyra classes you will start off by learning the fundamentals while you build up your strength. As you move through the levels you will get to learn a range of impressive moves, transitions, drops and rolls. You will learn how to control your movements in the Lyra with grace and strength.


In our trapeze classes you will start off learning the basics as you build up your strength and master the foundational skills. As you continue you will learn many impressive tricks, rolls and transitions as well as figuring out how to make movements look effortless!

Lyra Doubles


Lyra Doubles is where we perform tricks with 2 people on 1 Lyra! Come and discover all the amazing moves you can do with a friend and learn how to transition in and out of moves as well. Come and do a doubles class with a friend, you will have so much fun together and leave the class buzzing!


This class focuses on helping you to increase your strength using multiple aerial apparatus’s and different floor exercises. We will help build your leg and arm strength along with increasing your core stability. Exercises are modified to suit everyone’s current needs so that you will get the most out of each class.

Private Classes

If you are wanting to get the most out of your training time, 1 on 1 time with an instructor is the way to go! Private classes run for 1 hour and you get to choose whichever apparatus you would like to focus on for that hour. This is the perfect way to build up your strength, work on those hard to get moves and even learn some new fun moves!

Private: $75 per hour

Semi-Private: $90 per hour

Open Training

Open Training is the time where you can work on conditioning along with perfecting those hard to get moves that you have already learnt during your classes!

Pricing: $25 per hour


Mums and Daughters

Do you want to come and learn aerials with someone you love? Mums and daughters, aunts and nieces or any other family combo can now come and learn whichever apparatus they would like to do together! Contact us now for more info.

Pre-school Program

All of our pre-school classes are run using our hammocks, which is the best starting point for kids to become comfortable with going upside down and building up their strength! One parent must stay with their child throughout the class.

Pricing: $150 for 10 weeks, 30 minute classes

Mums and Bubs – 18 months – 3 years

In this class, parents are encouraged to help their budding aerialists throughout the class! This class is designed so that your aerialists become comfortable in the hammocks while they’re young. We work on balance, gross motor skills and body awareness. Through different activities in the hammock we provide a fun and stimulating class for both you and your child! We have small class sizes with a max of 4 people per class.

Mini’s Hammock – 3 – 5 years

Now that your children are getting older we are working towards making your little aerialist more independent. We begin transitioning from parents helping to parents watching their child. We continue to develop balance, gross motor skills and body awareness as well as fine motor skills and core strength. During this class the kids will start to develop basic skills such as learning to wait their turn and to express when they need help. We start working on building up their strength with simple inversions and new moves in the hammocks! We have small class sizes with a max of 4 people per class.

Contortion, Acro & Hand Balancing Classes


If you dream of being incredibly bendy with amazing over splits and incredible backbends, contortion is for you! In this class you will learn how to safely increase your flexibility through stretches and exercises that will help you progress in your contortion journey. You will also learn how to do iconic contortion moves as the weeks go on!


Our acro classes are perfect to help build strength and body awareness that is needed in aerial dance. We start off by learning the very basics of acrobatics including forward and backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels. Through the levels we progress through consecutive rolls, headstands, walkovers, limbers, handsprings, aerials, arabians, back tucks and many more!

Hand Balancing

In this class you will build up the strength to not only do handstands on the floor but also on handstand canes! There are so many different positions to be learnt in handstands and so many different variations you can do while balancing on your hands!



Kids Parties

Our kids parties run for 90 minutes and are a perfect way to celebrate your child’s birthday! During the 90 minutes the children will learn some amazing tricks on our hammocks and will be able to show off their new skills to their parents at the end of the party. You must supply any lolly bags, snacks, drinks or decorations you may choose to have.


$240 for 8 kids

$30 for each extra child, maximum 12 kids

New Holiday Workshops!

Kids Holiday Workshop

Due to COVID we will be running our holiday workshops differently these holidays. Each workshop will run for 2 hours, with only 4 students per workshop. There is a range of different workshops and you can do 2 workshops one after the other if you want! There are 4 different types of workshops to choose from:

  • Contortion/ Acro/ Hand Balancing
  • Silks/ Hammock
  • Lyra/ Trapeze

About Us

Mikayla – Studio Director/ Head Instructor

Mikayla opened Aerial Enchantment at the start of 2018 to combine her love of aerials with her love of teaching kids. She is passionate about instructing and building the confidence of kids & teens in the art of aerial dance. She has completed training through Circus Training Australia in Silks, Lyra, Trapeze, Tumbling and Acro. She is also a certified AntiGravity Level 1 Instructor. Mikayla has completed a certificate III in childcare and loves working with young kids in particular! She has 15 years experience as a dancer and specialises in Aerial Silks, Hammock, Lyra, Trapeze and Contortion.

Holly – Instructor

Holly has been doing Silks for 3 and a half years. Before silks she did gymnastics and loved it but turned  to silks for a new challenge. She has recently started training on other aerial apparatus’s such as hammock, trapeze and lyra. She loves teaching kids to concur new challenges as well as becoming stronger individuals!



Rachel – Instructor

Rachel is a certified person trainer, with a certificate 3 & 4 in fitness. Rachel enjoys helping people find their love for fitness and celebrating small accomplishments as it’s not the destination that’s important, it’s the journey! She started her aerial journey 3 years ago, training in hammock, lyra, silks and trapeze. She has been lucky enough to have performed at the Australian Circus Festival. Rachel’s stage name is Mononoke after the cartoon character because she loves anime!

Cate – Instructor

Cate has been doing trapeze for 5 years now and Lyra for about 2 years, she competed in the NSW heat at miss lyra 2019 in the Showtime Category. She has done performances on trapeze and some lyra. Cate also has 25 years of experience in ballroom dancing. Cate started teaching aerials at the beginning of 2020 and loves transferring her silks and knowledge to new students. Everyone will find out her love for her doggy taco…. one of the loves of her life as well as her husband

Sam – Instructor

Sam (a.k.a The Metal Aerialist) has been doing aerials for 8 years now specializing in trapeze and lyra. She has competed in the NSW heats of Miss Lyra Australia since its inception in 2017 and nationally since 2018. She also competed in Rising All Stars in 2019 on trapeze. Sam is a huge nerd and metal-head, the inspiration for many of her performances. She absolutely loves teaching aerials and encouraging students to reach their goals!

Tahlia – Junior & Teens Instructor

Tahlia started off doing gymnastics for 3 years, followed by 2 years of cheerleading and then found her love for all things aerial! She loves teaching because it’s a fun new experience for her, she gets to meet new people and learn even more about aerial dance!



Taylah – Junior & Teens Instructor

Taylah has been dancing since the age of 3, has done gymnastics for 4 years and has participated in acrobatics and contortion for a year. Taylah has experience working with young children through volunteering as a youth leader/ ambassador for beautiful minds and believes that having a sporting outlet is vital in order to lead a healthy and happy life. Taylah started silks as a challenge and  has recently started training on other apparatuses. She loves sharing her passion for the aerial arts with others!


Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear? Leggings and a t-shirt or singlet, please take all jewellery off before coming to your class.

Do I get a make up class if i’m sick or can’t make my class? If you let us know 24 hours before your class begins we will provide you with the possible times you can come to a make up class!

What if I don’t like it? We offer a trial class so that you can try it out before booking in for the full term!

Will I have to share the silks/ hammock/ lyra/ trapeze? No! You get you’re own apparatus for the whole class!

I’ve done silks/ hammock/ lyra/ trapeze before, what level should I do? Contact us for a trial class so we can assess what level would be suitable for you!

I’m not strong, flexible or fit enough? Absolutely everyone can do aerials no matter where you are starting from! Coming to aerial classes will make you strong and flexible! All of our beginner classes are suitable to people with absolutely no prior fitness/ strength experience all you need is a positive attitude!

How do I book in for a class? To book into a class go to our ‘schedule’ tab to search through all of our classes that are available!


Studio Policies:

  • When on the apparatus, clothing with zippers or buttons are not allowed. Any jewellery including necklaces, bracelets, dangly earrings or rings can’t be worn during class as they may tear or snag the hammocks and silks.
  • Please turn mobile phones off or to silent during your class to not disrupt the class.
  • All classes must be paid for prior to the beginning of the class.
  • If you need to leave a class early, please inform your instructor at the beginning of the class.
  • If you are unable to attend a class please let us know 24 hours before the start of the class to be able to attend a make up class.
  • If you don’t give us notice before 24 hours prior to the start of the class, you will not receive a make up class.
  • If you are over 20 minutes late to a class, you won’t be able to join in on the class.
  • We do not offer refunds for classes if you are unable to attend.
  • We do not offer refunds if you have booked in for a term class and have changed your mind.
